Being able to helpothers is a wonderful charitable act of kindness and love thatinspires peace. It could be as simple as listening to them,stimulating a natural thirst for learning and by encouraging themso they can discover what they want, and how to succeed. It doesfeel good to help another person reach one of their goals. Itbuilds a long-lasting feeling of fulfillment in yourself and helpsthem to feel confident in the direction they are going.

Unfortunately thereare many dear souls that still, after your world has become somodern that helping others for the benefit of that other person'ssuccess seems like foreign concept because there is too muchcompetition going on. Many people have it in their minds that ifsomeone gets ahead in life, it means it will more difficult forthem to achieve success. Competition does have its place in certainevents, but it has also become a negative way to live one's life.So many people feel that success in someone else's life must equateto one less than their own; that they must always bebetter.

It is important topoint out that the outcome of any result of a goal, or ambitionbeing reached does not always contain the same size of reward. Youcan have five people aiming for the same goal and each one willsucceed in their own way, achieving a slightly different outcome.Each person had the same opportunity to grow from what they werelearning along the way. If you had the means to help one of thosepeople that were aiming to achieve a goal or an ambition and theysucceeded, their success would also become your success due to theencouragement you shared with them during different intervals oftheir progression.

When you help anotherperson reach success of any kind, take some time yourself and thinkabout how helping this person achieve success is beneficial. Byyour helping hand, you are able to encourage and to inspire thereceiver of your generosity to achieve a little further than theymight have if left unaided. By unselfishly helping another, youhave helped better the world by your loving act of kindness thatturns you into a positive role model. Those that have helped otherssucceed are more-often-than-not, remembered quite fondly and spokenof by the person who received their generous help when they discussthe trials of their journey with others. The best part, is when thereceiver of your generous giving of assistance pays kindness to astranger that continues the giving cycle again.

The act ofgiving and kindness is not just in doing small favours for someonein need, it could be helping someone study, reach deadlines,offering kind words of encouragement, showing them specificclassified ads, being there for moral support, etc. Joy is notfound in your pursuit of selfish wants. Joy that is pure and true comes from how you canhelp others unselfishly. It feels good to help. If you are allequal and one with the world and universe than there is no longerany use for the egoic concept of looking out for numero uno. Whenyou share yourself by helping others, your actions aredemonstrations of kindness, love and peace. You are doing the worldsome beneficial good.

Byletting go of previous assumptions and expectations about otherpeople, you open your heart and let others in and when you letothers in and share with them without prejudice but with respectand kindness you are helping to change the world with one helpfulact at a time.
